Beville
Director
Robert Beville is a Director of Desert Capital REIT
and President of the Las Vegas division of Meritage
Corporation. Previously, Mr. Beville served as the
Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President
of this division, formally known as Perma-Bilt Homes.
Meritage Corporation is one of the nation’s
largest single-family homebuilders. In its 18-year
history, the company has built approximately 31,000
homes, ranging from entry-level to semi-custom luxury.
In his role as Director, Mr. Beville brings more than
14 years of experience in the homebuilding industry,
as well as seasoned financial oversight. Before joining
Meritage Corporation, he served as Chief Financial
Officer for Rhodes Homes, where he was responsible
for financial statement reporting, securing construction
financing, reviewing acquisition and development costs,
investor relations, coordination of year-end audits
and litigation management.
Mr. Beville earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno, and
is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of
the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.
