Stacy M. Riffe is the Chief Financial Officer of Desert Capital REIT and serves as a Director on the Board. Her responsibilities include overseeing all financial functions of the company as well as the regulatory reporting and filing requirements of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).

Ms. Riffe brings more that 20 years of professional finance experience including five years public accounting, eleven years with publicly traded companies and over four years with private companies.

Ms. Riffe offers significant financial talents. She was recruited by UDR, Inc. to bring structure, internal control, accounting discipline and leadership to the organization. Prior to UDR, Ms. Riffe served as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Sunset Financial Resources, Inc., a NYSE listed mortgage REIT from 2005 to 2006, and from 2002 to 2005 she served as Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Restaurant Properties, Inc., a NYSE listed equity REIT that owned restaurant properties operated by national and regional restaurant brands.

Prior to Desert Capital REIT she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of UDR, Inc., a leading NYSE multi-family real estate investment trust that manages, buys, sells, develops and redevelops attractive real estate properties in targeted U.S. markets.

Ms. Riffe also served as Chief Financial Officer of RE3, a taxable real estate subsidiary of UDR, Inc., which works in symphony with UDR’s growth strategies by focusing on development, redevelopment, land entitlement, and short-term hold investments.

Ms. Riffe earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas, Arlington, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
